    2. Description of Service

    CodeVault provides encrypted repository hosting services with zero-knowledge encryption. Our service allows you to store, manage, and collaborate on code repositories with end-to-end encryption.

    3. Account Registration

    To use our services, you must:

    • Be at least 13 years of age
    • Provide accurate and complete registration information
    • Maintain the security of your account credentials
    • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

    4. User Responsibilities

    You are responsible for:

    • All activity that occurs under your account
    • Maintaining backups of your data
    • Safeguarding your encryption keys and recovery phrase
    • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

    5. Prohibited Uses

    You may not use our services to:

    • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
    • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
    • Distribute malware or engage in phishing activities
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
    • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our services

    6. Encryption and Data Access

    Due to our zero-knowledge encryption architecture, CodeVault cannot access, decrypt, or recover your repository contents. You are solely responsible for maintaining your encryption keys and recovery phrase. Loss of these credentials will result in permanent loss of access to your encrypted data.

    7. Subscription and Payment

    Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.

    8. Service Availability

    We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our services. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect service availability. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.

    10. Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, you will have a reasonable period to export your data. After this period, your data may be deleted from our servers.

    11. Changes to Terms

    We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our service. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
